Research progress on dynamic testing methods of wood shear modulus: A review

چکیده

Wood is a non-homogeneous and orthotropic natural polymer material. It important to test the wood shear modulus elastic constants accurately reliably using dynamic methods. Based on introduction of advantages six common methods for testing modulus, such as free plate torsional mode method, bar vibration Timoshenko beam iterative issues associated with applicability accuracy these are also pointed out. Recent methods, square method static strain that were developed dynamically composite materials, presented effective ways tackle issues. These new approaches expected provide beneficial technical support small specimens, overcoming size effect simplifying procedures, improving accuracy, expanding application range in modulus. have practical significance promoting industrialization development structural engineering, furniture interior decoration, transportation, military, musical instrument industries.
